About the Position
This role is to lead and manage an off-site Professional Scientific Staffing (PSS) team of analytical staff to ensure that team is operating at the highest quality and productivity standards, have high morale and retention, and the agreed customer requirements are entirely satisfied and that customer expectations are met or exceeded through effective leadership and quality operational management. This person will be the key point of contact for the client on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and co-ordinate the Microbiology team.
Ensure quality, documentation, work schedules and safety run accordingly.
Ensure ethical work standards and GMP requirements.
Review and approve documentation
Ensure work is scheduled.
Performing analysis if required.
Perform performance appraisals with staff.
Ensure equipment is properly maintained.
Experience/Requirements
Microbiology or Chemistry qualifications
5 years GMP experience
Experience in a management or Team lead position
