Site Supervisor – Water Program – Clare   

You will need to be on site 5 days a week and have experience working in Ireland. 

About the Company

We are currently looking to recruit a Site Supervisor for water programs in Co. Clare. This an opportunity to work on Ireland’s water network expansion program This client manage and delivery large scale projects from the planning stage to handover and have expertise and manger essential capital projects related to the water network across Ireland.  
They have recently received funding for a number of upgrade and expansion projects across the water network in Munster and are looking for a site supervisor with extensive construction experience to manage a project in Clare. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a sector that is as important to the consumer as it is to the environment. These water expansion programs are essential to improve the network across the Munster region

About the Position

As the Site supervisor for this program, you will have full life cycle management of this project. You will work closely with the project director and  the structural design team ensure the delivery of this project is a success.

Experience/Requirements 

Within this role you will be involved in

  • Site Management of a large-scale water upgrade project.

  • Team leading and team management across all aspects of Engineering on site.

  • Manage team meetings and progress status updates.

  • Review of exiting plans and update for the client where needed.

  • Manage Heath & Safety on site

  • Monitor the schedules and time scales regarding design and delivery.

  • Manage junior engineer to ensure the project runs smoothly

  • Manage subcontractors at the development stage

  • Deliver information to the client in a timely manner

  • Generate regular report on the project status.

  • Liaise with local authorities on planning issues

  • Experience in rail project is an advantage.  

For this role you are required to have;

  • A min or 5 years project management experience

  • A related Engineering qualification

  • Experience in water

  • Experience with a Consultant would be an advantage

  • Heavy Construction Experience

  • Ideally you will have experience in water or large infrastructure projects

  • Experience in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Projects

  • A self-starter and the ability to manage multiple projects as any given time.
