Business Development Manager

Newly created role for an experienced BtoB Business Development Manager with a background in refrigeration sales.  This role is due to expansion and is a nationwide role.  It is a mix of Key Account Management and finding new clients to grow the business.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities by seeking out new markets, clients, partnerships, or product and service offerings
  • Build strong relationships with new clients by understanding their needs and proposing tailored solutions
  • Maintain and develop existing client relationships 
  • Pitch company goods and services to both new and existing clients
  • Attend conferences, trade shows and industry gatherings to build relationships with industry partners
  • Keep up-to-date about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities
  • Create sales forecasts and actively work towards achieving them.
  • Stay informed about competitors’ offerings and industry positioning.
  • Work with marketing to ensure all offerings are open and transparent on the social media channels and websites. 

Experience/Requirements

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least five years’ experience in a similar
  • Experience in refrigeration sales
  • Excellent level of verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Good networking skills in order to build and maintain relationships with customers.  

Remuneration Package

€60,000 - 70,000
