About the Position

This job is for a Bookkeeper to assist in the timely and accurate production of financial information and accounts for the company's senior management and group. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience, and advanced knowledge of Excel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the FC and Finance Team to ensure the timely and accurate production of financial information and accounts to both senior management and group.
  • Managing and control of the cash function including the preparation of weekly cash forecasts and Bank reconciliation.
  • Credit card control and reconciliation.
  • Managing all aspects of AP supplier payments.
  • Ownership and maintaining of the Fixed Asset Register.
  • Assisting in the preparation and production of the monthly group reporting pack.
  • Supporting key finance team members such as the AR controller and AP controller to ensure that all finance team responsibilities and goals are being met.
  • Working closely with the finance team to ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are met, including audit preparation and VAT return.
  • Provide support during the annual audit process.
  • Ownership and managing employees’ expenses.
  • Responsibility for completion of standalone projects.

Experience/Requirements

  • Bookkeeper/ AITI qualified preferable but not essential.
  • At least 3 years of experience essential.
  • Experience within the IT sector preferable.
  • Experience in Opera or similar ERP system preferable.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel.
  • Good general knowledge of all aspects of the Finance Function.
  • Motivated and dedicated accountant capable of working within a deadline driven environment and on their own. initiative, proactive and self-starting.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Remuneration Package

  • Salary €30,000-€35,000
