A global leader in financial service is seeking a passionate DBA to join their team.
You'll be ensuring their databases run smoothly 24/7.You'll be the backbone for information flow, providing seamless access for everyone in the company.
What you'll do:
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates.
- Safeguard data security, privacy, and integrity through testing and evaluations.
- Set and enforce database standards and policies.
- Provide data management support and training to users.
- Minimize downtime and optimize query response times.
- Manage backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with IT personnel, external consultants, and business analysts.
- Participate in project management and application installation tasks.
What you bring:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility and a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Expertise in Oracle (11G, 12C, 19C), SQL Server (2008+), Sybase (16.x), MySQL (8.x), MariaDB (10.x), MongoDB (5.x, 6.x), and PostgreSQL (13.x, 15.x).
- Experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL administration a plus.
