Credit Controller

About the Position
A global brand related to the service and facilities industry, based in Dublin, is currently looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join their team. Reporting to the Financial Controller this role is initially being offered as a one-year fixed term contract. Great culture with flexible/hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the company's credit collections, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in billing and collections.
• Proactively communicate with customers to resolve payment issues and disputes etc
• Monitor overdue accounts and take appropriate actions to minimize bad debt risks.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Prepare and send periodic statements of account to customers, maintaining clear and accurate records of all communications and transactions.
• Assist in the reconciliation of accounts and preparation of financial reports as needed.
• Continuously assess and improve credit control processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Min 2/3 years experience as a credit controller in a similar role
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and credit management best practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications.
