About the Position
A global brand related to the service and facilities industry, based in Dublin, is currently looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join their team. Reporting to the Financial Controller this role is initially being offered as a one-year fixed term contract. Great culture with flexible/hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the company's credit collections, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in billing and collections.
Proactively communicate with customers to resolve payment issues and disputes etc
Monitor overdue accounts and take appropriate actions to minimize bad debt risks.
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies.
Prepare and send periodic statements of account to customers, maintaining clear and accurate records of all communications and transactions.
Assist in the reconciliation of accounts and preparation of financial reports as needed.
Continuously assess and improve credit control processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Experience/Requirements
Min 2/3 years experience as a credit controller in a similar role
Solid understanding of accounting principles and credit management best practices.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications.
