HR Manager

About the Position

Are you a HR Manager with experience working in hotels– then we have an unmissable opportunity for you. This is a varied role with a focus on performance productivity and training & development and reports directly into the General Manager. This role will be based mainly onsite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all recruitment and selection including internal hiring and succession planning.
  • To provide support and advice in line with best practice to all levels of staff on organisational policies and procedures including employee handbook.
  • Drive training and development & give guidance on internal development programmes.
  • Oversee the effective onboarding of new staff, including induction, administration, performance management and probation.
  • Assist all Heads of Department in controlling payroll costs through recruitment, selection, retention, rostering, and managing holiday accruals costs.
  • Ensure a consistently high level of employee engagement within the hotel.
  • Proactively manage any ER issues that may arise.
  • Maintain employee compliance standards for the hotel, including proper HR Records and documentation.

Experience/Requirements

  • At least three years previous HR Management experience in hotels.
  • HR qualification
  • Have ability to influence at all levels of the business.
  • Have a strong understanding of employment law and related legislation.
  • Be willing to learn and develop yourself.
  • Work well in a busy environment
  • Have the ability to work efficiently 

Remuneration Package

€60,000 - €70,000 plus bonus
