HR Manager - Kildare

About the Position

Superb opportunity to join a high profile, large Not-For-Profit and healthcare organisation.  Working as a HR Manager, you will be responsible a team of 10, with plans to grow the business extensively over the next few years, you will be joining a business who are on the up and up. This will be a hybrid position in Kildare with three days in the office.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • As the Human Resources Manager, you will lead the team in ensuring compliance with all Irish employment laws and regulations, while upholding best practices in Human Resources.
  • Manage employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions, fostering positive relationships between employees and management.
  • Identify training needs, design training programmes, and facilitate employee development initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Implement performance appraisal systems, provide feedback to employees, and assist in performance improvement plans when necessary, including offering support to Line Managers across the service, as required.
  • Develop, implement, and update HR and Training policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company standards.
  • Manage employee compensation and benefits, administering and expanding upon existing programmes.
  • Review and update existing HR policies and procedures and develop new ones to support company governance.
  • Contribute to company’s strategic plan, aligning HR initiatives with the services’ objectives and supporting its long-term success.

Experience/Requirements

  • Degree in the Human Resources field and/or equivalent professional experience.
  • Train-the-Trainer certification.
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a HR Training Manager/Business Partner role.
  • Previous experience working in the healthcare industry
  • Excellent knowledge in creating and developing training programmes to a FETAC/Further Education standard.
  • Strong knowledge programme management tools, learning management systems and design tools.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant standards and legislation.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and judgement making critical decisions and recommendations. 
  • Capable of working within a fast paced and flexible team.
  • Good listener and open to learn from others.  
  • Excellent organisational skills / self-motivated / self-starter.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and IT skills.
  • Dedicated, reliability and flexible approach to work.

Remuneration Package

€65,000 - €80,000 plus benefits
