Financial Analyst

About the Company
Our client is a leading global investment management company based in Dublin 2 and they are currently recruiting a new corporate accounting financial analyst within their team.
This is a varied role with exposure across the business and will suit a "Big 4" trained accountant with minimum 1-2 years’ experience in industry.

About the Position
Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for month-end closing of management entities - posting of journal entries and performing reconciliations.
• Assist in financial statement preparation and guiding local audits to completion.
• Assist with preparation of VAT filings and other indirect tax matters.
• Assist in preparation of budgets, forecasts and business plans and continued monitoring & review of performance against them to enable robust reporting of variances to regional and senior management.
• Interaction with operations, legal, and tax departments as well as local administrator.
• Assistance with Finance projects and process improvements.
• Assist preparation of internal management reporting, capital and liquidity stress tests, and other local regulatory filings and surveys.

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) trained in a “big four” accounting firm.
• 1-2 years of industry experience, preferably working in a Financial Services firm.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP, US GAAP and UK regulatory reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to drive continuous improvement.
