About the Company
Our client is a leading global investment management company based in Dublin 2 and they are currently recruiting a new corporate accounting financial analyst within their team.
This is a varied role with exposure across the business and will suit a "Big 4" trained accountant with minimum 1-2 years’ experience in industry.
About the Position
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for month-end closing of management entities - posting of journal entries and performing reconciliations.
Assist in financial statement preparation and guiding local audits to completion.
Assist with preparation of VAT filings and other indirect tax matters.
Assist in preparation of budgets, forecasts and business plans and continued monitoring & review of performance against them to enable robust reporting of variances to regional and senior management.
Interaction with operations, legal, and tax departments as well as local administrator.
Assistance with Finance projects and process improvements.
Assist preparation of internal management reporting, capital and liquidity stress tests, and other local regulatory filings and surveys.
Experience/Requirements
Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) trained in a “big four” accounting firm.
1-2 years of industry experience, preferably working in a Financial Services firm.
Knowledge of UK GAAP, US GAAP and UK regulatory reporting requirements.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to drive continuous improvement.
