Financial Analyst

About the Company

Our client, a leading Asset Management company based in Central Dublin, are looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team. This person will work closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager and will be comfortable working with large data sets to extract valuable insight and meaningful information for presentation to management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Financial Planning & Analysis manager in the preparation and delivery of the annual budget, planning and production of rolling forecasts.
• Ownership of purchase dept. and business line expense monitoring, reporting and forecasting process.
• Analyse P&L results against plan, forecast, prior periods and other key performance metrics.
• Support FPA Manager in preparation of quarterly financial pack for presentation to Board.
• Assist with construction of financial models and development of reports/dashboards to track and analyse historical and projected spend and revenue trends.
• Support wider Finance function with month-end close process.  
• Work on ad-hoc projects, with a focus on process automation and optimisation initiatives.

Experience/Requirements

• 2+ years experience in an analytical role, preferably within a Finance function
• Pursuing / interested in pursuing a professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
• 3+ years of experience in a Finance or Accounting Role (preferably public or private accounting background with hedge funds or private equities)
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet timelines
• Proven analytical skills and judgment – strong attention to detail essential

Remuneration Package

• Salary- €40,000-€50,000
