About the Position

This role offers the opportunity to work shift.

Working hours are 7am to 7pm or 8am-8pm
The working week is as follows and these rotate week on week
  • Week 1  Mon / Tues &  / Fri/ Sat/Sun
  • Week 2 Wed / Thur
  • Week 3  Mon / Tues &  / Fri/ Sat/Sun
  • Week 4 Wed / Thur

This is a dynamic role with a focus on personal growth and internal promotion. We provide comprehensive training in wet chemistry and microbiology, aiming to expand skills across various test methods within 2 years. Our training paths include LEAN and leadership development, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

The role will involve wet chemistry and microbiology testing including:

Key Responsibilities

  • Testing of Biological Indicators, Bioburden, Endotoxin, pH, Conductivity Nitrates and Total Organic Carbon
  • Microbiological plate reading and streaking, sampling and testing environmental monitoring 
  • Reporting and investigating anomalous or quality-related events

Experience/Requirements

  • Degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 1 year’s relevant experience working within a Microbiology, Chemistry or Biochemistry Laboratory 
  • Strong GMP knowledge is essential
