About the Position
We are partnered with a well known Irish Charity to recruit an internal auditor to join their team. This position is responsible for planning, executing and reporting on operational, financial, regulatory and compliance related audits/reviews of the charity. It is a hybrid role and will involve travelling to various regional offices around Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver the Internal Audit function, this will include the preparation of audit plans, scheduling and assigning of the work plan and estimating the resource needs
Deliver strategic and operational risk-based audits, consultancy work and other reviews of operations/services including its governance, risk management and control framework.
Undertake detailed and complex audit tests
Take ownership of audit planning
Develop annual general audit plan
Lead, provide input and support into the investigation of allegation of fraud reported within the organisation.
Experience/Requirements
Professional accountancy qualification or part-qualification: ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA /CIA
3 yrs audit experience
Full clean driving license - Be available for frequent travel throughout Ireland including overnight stays on occasion

Salary €50,000

23 days holidays increasing to 27 days with service
