Engineering Project Manager – Hospital Projects
About the Company
We are currently working with one of Ireland’s most reputable medical facilities in the recruitment of a Project Manager with capital expenditure experience for an expansion program they are undertaking. This institution are redevelopment a number of buildings in their group and require an PM with an excellent reputation in project delivery and execution. They are looking to develop a state-of-the-art facility for their patients and staff, one that they can be proud of.
About the Position
Working within the senior management team, this individual will be responsible for the management and delivery of all capital related refurbishments projects are completed within time line and budgets and that all stake holders are kept up to date on all deliverables.

Project Management of refurbishment and expansion projects
-
Review of engineering design and work closely with the consultants/architects.

Development of project plans and milestones

Development and agreement of project baselines (scope, cost, time).

Development of reports, KPI’s and dashboards
-
Represent the company to the client in all aspects of the projects to the stakeholders.

Manage construction teams and project schedules. (P6)

Technical engagement with external consultants, contractors, utilities and local authorities.

CAPEX management
Experience/Requirements
For this role you are required to have
-
5 years experience in a project manager position
-
Degree Qualified in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical
-
Knowledge of the technical specification design function
-
Experience working with listed buildings.

Stakeholder Management experience
-
Project Planning experience
-
Experience in Medical Facilities or Hospitals

Bid and Tender experience.

Client and sub-contractor management
-
A reputation for project delivery
Remuneration Package
The client offers an excellent package. They also offer pension and a project completion bonus. This is a purpose contract.
