About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Working closely with the FC and Finance Team to ensure the timely and accurate production of financial information and accounts to both senior management and group.
• Managing all aspects of AP supplier payments, AP and AR reconciliation on a monthly basis including credit notes and PO approvals.
• Managing the OTC cycle including Order intake, Backlog, Product and VRM accounting, Professional Services, Manages Services, Maintenance and Rebates accounting.
• On boarding new customers into financial systems.
• Managing Intercompany recharges.
• Assisting in the preparation and production of the monthly group reporting pack including detailed analysis of data, half-yearly and yearly disclosures.
• Preparation of commission schedules and data for payroll, managing employees’ Pension, VHI, Annual Life Assurance filling.
• Working closely with the finance team to ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements including audit preparations, VAT and PAYE returns, Corporation tax calculation is met.
• Supporting key finance team members such as the Finance Assistant, AR controller and AP Controller to ensure that all finance team responsibilities and goals are being met.
• Responsibility for completion of standalone projects as required.

Experience/Requirements

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or similar.
• Post qualification experience within the IT sector preferable.
• Strong background in the production of management accounts and financial statements, exposure to audit and tax.
• Experience in Opera or similar ERP system preferable.
• Experience in a multi-national or large corporate environment preferable.
• Exposure to multi-currency processes.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Good general knowledge of all aspects of the Finance Function.
• Motivated and dedicated accountant capable of working within a deadline driven environment and on their own initiative, proactive and self-starting.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Remuneration Package

• €60,000 - €70,000
• Hybrid working 1-2 days a week in the office.
