Business Analyst

Hybrid - Dublin

Our client is a leading financial services company in Dublin city centre.

• Develop a solid understanding of the organisation’s core applications and architecture, particularly those related to assets under management.
• Contribute meaningfully to workshops and discovery sessions for upcoming initiatives, including CRM implementations, data reporting enhancements, and new application rollouts.
• Work closely with solution architects, fellow analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to gather and translate functional and technical requirements.
• Operate within an Agile framework: write user stories in Jira, define acceptance criteria, align with epics, and manage deliverables within Sprint cycles.
• Lead and coordinate test planning and execution, and support user acceptance testing.
• Provide ongoing support for implemented solutions, including issue investigation and resolution.
• Perform data analysis to support migrations, onboard new data sources, and troubleshoot issues.
• Produce high-quality documentation, including roadmaps and project plans for AUM-related systems.

The Candidate

• Strong attention to detail and a quick learner of systems and data flows.
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a distributed team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose effective solutions.
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced project environments.
• Experience working on cross-border projects with international teams.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and project requirements.
• Clear, professional communication style suitable for all levels of the organisation.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g. French) are a plus.

• Degree-level qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
• Background in the financial services or asset management sector, ideally with experience on CRM, financial, or similar system projects.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience using Jira or similar tools.
• Experience with software testing practices and tools.
• Proficient in SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Exposure to UX design or modernising legacy applications (e.g. migration to Java & Angular) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is beneficial but not required.

Very strong rate on offer.
This is a hybrid role and there is a possibility of extension.
