Financial Reporting Analyst
Role Profile:
Our client a leading logistics company based in North Dublin are seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of managerial reporting, adhering to accounting principles and all relevant corporate policies. Flexible hybrid working, this role is initially being offered as a two-year contract.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage the timely and accurate processing of the monthly financial closing.
•Prepare and post accurate month-end accruals.
•Develop and maintain high-quality financial reporting in line with group policies.
•Conduct thorough monitoring and analysis of financial results and key performance indicators at terminal and product levels, providing insightful comparisons against budget and prior year.
•Manage and monitor the ongoing and future financial performance of the business, providing critical information to support optimal management decision-making.
•Coordinate and contribute to the Balance Sheet review process.
•Prepare Budgets, Forecasts, and Monthly Forecasts with accuracy and efficiency.
•Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards, business compliance, policies, and procedures across all departments
•Prepare insightful Power BI reports.
•Participate in various finance-related projects.
•Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as required.
Skills / Qualifications:
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Financial Reporting is essential.
•Proven ability to influence business decisions through a strong understanding of the business.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels within the business and with external stakeholders.
•Proficiency in Excel
•Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
•Experience with Power BI is desirable.
Salary
: €45,000 -€50,000 Plus bonus, healthcare pension etc
Hybrid
– 3 days in the Office 2 at home
