About the Position
A leading organisation is seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to design, build, and support tailored solutions on the Salesforce platform. This role will be integral in driving digital transformation initiatives by leveraging the full capabilities of Salesforce to solve complex business challenges.
The Role
Salesforce Development
- Build and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other platform tools.
- Develop and manage integrations with internal and third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
- Configure and customise Salesforce to meet business requirements using declarative tools such as Process Builder, Flow, validation rules, and custom objects.
- Support scalable solutions aligned with best practice standards.
- Monitor and maintain existing Salesforce implementations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and deliver timely fixes and enhancements.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications in collaboration with analysts, product owners, and project managers.
- Work in cross-functional teams to support agile delivery and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation including solution designs, release notes, and user guides.
- Follow established development, testing, and deployment processes to ensure code quality and maintainability.
The Candidate
- Strong hands-on experience in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and configuration capabilities.
- Demonstrable experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using APIs and middleware.
- Experience working with MuleSoft is required.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and data migration strategies.
- Working knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to convert business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Certifications
Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications are highly preferred.
Additional certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or App Builder are an advantage.
