About the Company

Working with specialist in utilities based product development, this role will offer you the opportunity to work within the engineering support team and to develop and manage projects  and products for manufacture. The products for this company are related commercial and residential sector and in the area of plumbing and heating. Their products are developed to the highest standards and quality is a major focus for this this client across their vast range or product.
As a result of increase demand, both nationally and internationally, our client is currently looking to recruit a Mechanical support product development for manufacture.

About the Position

Experience in product design is essential for this role. You will have some experience business management and all related aspects of testing, quality and production in an NPD environment. You will be well versed in quality procedures and have prior experience working with high profile clients and stake holders. Experience in the mechanical sector related to the utilities industry is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will

• Provide Engineering support to customers in the plumbing trade.

• Ensure delivery of quality product to the end customer in a timely manner.

• Work very closely with customers and represent the client in the best possible manner.

• Assist in component verification and validation.

• Quality management of all products

• Development of production test equipment

• Identify and drive product and process quality and cost improvements.

• Provide support to contract manufacturer, helping to ensure delivery of highest quality product.

• Receive, document, analyse and process all related information related to new products.

For this role you will have

• 3 years experience in a plumbing related role.

• Be a problem solver and enjoy working with clients.

• Knowledge of ISO9001

• Experience with CAD

• Material Science knowledge

• Competency in Microsoft tools, Word, Excel, Project etc.

• Experience in plumbing or heating product.

Remuneration Package
