About the Position

They are looking to hire a skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join their talented Finance team. This role presents a unique opportunity for a professional who possesses a strong understanding of SAP and can apply this expertise in the context of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed SAP data analysis for periodic reporting and on- demand as required.
  • Prepare and deliver a comprehensive PSO reporting pack for key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Management team to collect and consolidate forecast, planning, and budgeting data for PSO activities.
  • Support meeting preparation and manage diaries to ensure smooth coordination within the Finance team.
  • Review and assess the financial impact of proposed service enhancements.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of key business changes impacting PSO activity and provide actionable insights.
  • Monitor operational data to identify changes in duties or Key Metrics (KM) by route not officially acknowledged.
  • Periodically review advertising postings by product to assess financial impact.
  • Gather and review operational costs for OPEX- funded projects, such as Next Generation AVL, Ticketing, and Travel Assistance.
  • Review customer care support costs periodically to ensure accuracy in reporting

Experience/Requirements

  • A relevant finance qualification and proven experience in a comparable financial analysis role, with strong proficiency in financial reporting, data analysis, and the use of financial software and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP for data analysis, financial reporting, and extracting key financial information for PSO activities.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting. Strong skills in MS Office, with solid IT skills for navigating financial software.
  • Ability to analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast- paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, propose solutions, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data collection, cost allocation, and reporting.
  • Strong focus on ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high standards in all financial reporting, data analysis, and cost management tasks, with a commitment to continuous improvement and attention to detail

Remuneration Package

  • Salary €50,000-€60,000
  • 25 days increasing to 28 after 5 years’ service.
