HR and Industrial Relations Executive
About the Position
📍 Ranelagh, Dublin | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days remote)
💰€65,000–€70,000 + Bonus + Pension
🕘35-hour week | Interviews starting 30th June
Our client, is a membership body who represent over 1,400 members and engaging on critical issues like workforce strategy, compliance, collective bargaining, and policy development. They are now hiring an ER & Industrial Relations Executive to join our high-performing team in a varied, impactful, and highly visible role supporting members nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Industrial Relations and Employment Services, you’ll provide advice, guidance and advocacy to member organisations on a wide range of employment matters including:
- Employee relations, disciplinary/grievance issues, and employment law compliance
- Trade union negotiations, collective bargaining, and dispute resolution
- Representation at the Workplace Relations Commission and Labour Court
- Interpreting and communicating legislative changes to members via webinars, articles, and in-person sessions
- Supporting national-level discussions on pay and conditions across the construction sector
You’ll be supported by a small, collaborative team with access to a huge range of IR/HR casework — making this a standout opportunity to deepen your experience and influence the industry at a national level.
Experience/Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in HR, employee relations and employment law
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice
- Comfortable advising on complex ER/IR issues and working with trade unions
- Experience attending WRC hearings or supporting settlements is a strong advantage
- Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and confident presenting to members
- HR/IR/Law degree required
