Finance Manager -Interim Part-Time
We are seeking an Interim Finance Manager to provide leadership and management, with a primary focus on financial operations. This role supports all other divisions in critical areas including Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Risk Management, Procurement, and Facilities Management.
Our client is an established semi-state organisation with flexible working, initally being ffered ona contrcat basis an rquires an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities
With a primary focus on Finance:
  • Financial Management and Reporting:
    • Oversee budgetary processes, ensuring accountability for income and expenditure in line with public financial procedures.
    • Ensure all financial transactions comply with government financial procedures, guidelines, and public accounting standards.
    • Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership and relevant committees/departments.
  • Engagement with Statutory Audit Functions:
    • Act as a key liaison for internal and external auditors.
    • Facilitate audit processes and support timely responses to findings.
  • Strategic Leadership and Management:
    • Provide strategic and operational leadership for the finance function.
    • Ensure robust financial controls and processes are maintained.
  • Procurement (Financial Oversight):
    • Provide financial oversight and ensure compliance with public procurement requirements.
  • Risk Management (Financial Focus):
    • Contribute to the corporate risk management framework, specifically concerning financial risks.
  • External Partner Management:
    • Operational oversight of outsourced HR and IT services.
Skills and Experience
Candidates should possess the following:
  • Qualified Accountant -ACA,ACCA,CPA,CIMA
  • Demonstrable significant experience at a senior level in financial management, including managing budgets.
