Senior Claims Handler

Delighted to partner with a global insurance solutions firm that is now looking to add an experienced claims handler to their team. This will suit an experienced claims handler that is looking to broaden their experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct reviews of outsourced motor claims handling to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Execute claims control reviews remotely or on-site, identifying cost-saving opportunities and monitoring corrective actions.

  • Prepare reports on review findings and oversee implementation of performance improvements.

  • Analyze monthly claims data to identify trends impacting program performance.

  • Manage daily claims queries from suppliers, clients, and internal teams.

  • Support monthly and quarterly reporting, including risk and KPI reports.

  • Contribute to new business product development and process improvement initiatives.

  • Update department policies and complete required IT security training.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of motor insurance claims (personal injury, property damage, fire, theft, total loss, glass).

  • Experience in claims litigation and motor claims handling from notification to settlement.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or Insurance; professional insurance qualification (minimum CIP).

  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.

  • Collaborative team player with interpersonal skills for cross-departmental and international relationships

Remuneration Package: €45,000-€50,000 plus bonus, health insurance, pension and hybrid working
