Senior Manager -Risk Consulting

We are partnering with a leading Irish professional services firm that are seeking to appoint a Senior Manager to join its expanding Risk Consulting division. This is a strategic leadership role focused on growing and managing a dedicated function, while also overseeing key engagements within the portfolio.

With a strong presence across governance, risk advisory, and internal audit, the Risk Consulting team works with a broad client base.
This role offers the chance to lead impactful projects, shape a new service line, and mentor a talented team all while enjoying real autonomy and a clear path for career progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the firm’s Financial Services Internal Audit service offering.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of clients across Financial Services
  • Deliver high-quality internal audit and risk advisory engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
  • Provide strategic input into business development initiatives and contribute to the overall positioning of the Risk Consulting function in the market.
  • Lead and mentor a team of consultants and managers, fostering professional development and performance.
  • Manage key client relationships, including oversight of current client engagements during initial phase of growth
Candidate Profile
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 8 plus years of relevant experience in ideally in Financial Services and Internal Audit.
  • Prior experience in a professional services or consulting environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements and build enduring client relationships.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the Irish financial services regulatory landscape.
  • Proven leadership, project management, and team development capabilities.
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIA) are preferred.
