Business Development Manager

I’m looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a market-leading organisation in the education, training, and personal development sector and drive client engagement and growth.  In this role, you’ll be in charge of growing and developing existing partnerships while also identifying and securing new business opportunities.  This role is based in Dublin with a hybrid working option.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline, identify and secure new B2B opportunities, and meet assigned revenue and profit targets.
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments and present tailored education programmes aligned with client objectives.
  • Build and nurture long-term partnerships with HR, L&D, and senior executives, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
  • Serve as the commercial lead for assigned accounts, develop account strategies, and identify opportunities for upselling and renewals.
  • Represent the organisation at events and forums, build brand visibility, and stay informed on market trends and competitor activity.

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, with proven B2B experience in business development or client management ideally within the education or professional services industry
  • Demonstrated success in consultative selling, with a strong customer focus
  • Results orientated with excellent presentation skills, and the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proficient with CRM systems and MS Office

Remuneration Package

€65 -70,000 per annum
