Lead Electrical Estimator – High Voltage – Ireland and Europe

About the Company

Our client, who operate in the electrical sector are looking to increase their estimating and project team with the assistance of a Lead Electrical Estimator, based in Dublin. Projects are based in Ireland an Mainland Europe so experience outside of Ireland is beneficial.

About the Position

Managing all aspects of the Electrical Estimating team, you will become the main central support in providing expertise in the area of initial project estimation for a range of energy related projects across the country and also in mainland Europe. 

Experience/Requirements 

Within this role you are will:

• Manage a portfolio of problem at inception perspective

• Produce risk assessments including environmental impact

• Responsible for estimating and costings of works required

• Manage and develop a team of quantity surveyors  

• Report to senior directors in project plans and developments.

• Manage materials and procurement for the programs.

• Manage the legal aspects of the contracts.

• Manage external and internal stakeholders, asset management, local authorities etc.

For this role you are required to have:

• 8 years experience in Estimating

• Experience with software systems

• Experience in engineering and construction

• Experience in large scale construction programs.

• Contractor experience ideally

• Exposure to international projects

• Tender experience

• A full drivers license
