Regulatory Reporting Analyst
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to gain comprehensive exposure to all facets of regulatory reporting within a dynamic team with a leading Financial Services company. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance and contributing to the team's development. This role is initially being offered as a FTC and is to start as soon as possible – Flexible hybrid working enviroment
Responsibilities:
•Prepare and submit regulatory reports, including prudential and statistical returns, to the Central Bank of Ireland.
•Contribute to the preparation of the monthly management pack.
•Maintain a robust internal control framework, including review and reconciliation processes for regulatory reporting.
•Collaborate with the regulatory team to proactively monitor upcoming regulatory changes and ensure the organisation is prepared to adapt.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive policies and procedural documentation.
• Address ad-hoc queries from regulatory authorities.
•Proactively engage with the Second Line of Defence and Internal Audit functions.
•Liaise with IT and the regulatory report system provider to optimize system utilization.
•Review the daily liquidity pack and provide notifications to senior management.
Experience Required:
•Regulatory reporting experience is advantageous.
•Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA) is desirable.
•Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
•Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
•Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
•Strong team player with a collaborative approach.
•Demonstrates initiative and a problem-solving mindset.
