What was your background before Brightwater?
Healthcare Recruitment.

What made you think about a career in recruitment?
I am an outgoing inquisitive individual. Recruitment allows me to enquire what jobs are available and what candidates would be suitable. There is a process, if you get all your ducks in a row, you’re onto a winner.

What was the process like?
It is exciting, my heart was in my mouth in the final stages of the cycle.

What skills do you think have helped you most as a recruitment consultant?
Listening, you need to know what the needs are before you can speak about the solutions.

Now having worked as a recruitment consultant, how does the role differ from what you expected?
My last role, it was transactional, where this is a person-centered environment.
